After Each Use
- Turn off gas
- Remove cap and rinse with warm water. (less than 120 degrees F).
- Rinse uKeg with warm water.
- Repeat 2-3 times until clean.
- Install cap.
- Use remaining nitro gas to flow water through tap.
- Close tap.
- Discharge remaining nitro gas by turning dial and venting.
- Remove and recycle gas cartridge.
- Allow to dry by pouring out remaining water.
- Store with cap off and tap open in dry place.
For a More Thorough Cleaning
- Fill with warm water under 120 degress F and 1 cleaning tablet.
- Cap and shake well.
- Baking soda is a suitable substitute.
- Install cap, charge briefly with left-over nitro gas, flow water through tap and close tap.
- Let sit 10 minutes.
- Open tap until pressure runs out.
- Remove the nozzle for cleaning and drying.
- Rinse (make sure parts inside nozel remain intact).
