The latest project from makers of a popular mini keg-like beer growler option has blasted through an ambitious Kickstarter goal on its first day. The uKeg Nitro, from GrowlerWerks, raised nearly $120,000 as of 3:45 p.m. Wednesday. The effort, which revolves around a cold brew coffee maker that can dispense the beverage in "nitro," or foamy and carbonated-like form, had originally sought to raise $75,000.
